Master a skill, develop new techniques or pick up a new hobby....all of these can be accomplished during the summer of ’08.

Camp Westmont introduces CLINICS – a 3-day immersion program during 2nd elective.  Campers have the opportunity to choose an activity from a list of almost 30 specialties to hone their skills and/or learn new ones.  CLINICS will take place three times this summer during the weekends of July 4-6, July 11-13, and August 1-3 (on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Campers may choose three different activities or remain in the same clinic throughout the summer to develop a variety of skills in that activity.  For example:

  1. Camper #1 may choose
    1. 1st Clinic – basketball (focus on shooting)
    2. 2nd Clinic – soccer
    3. 3rd Clinic – triathlon
  2. Camper # 2 may choose
    1. 1st Clinic – basketball (focus on shooting)
    2. 2nd Clinic – basketball (focus on dribbling)
    3. 3rd Clinic – basketball (focus on defense)

Parents, please familiarize your children with the list and ask your children to choose several activities they would most enjoy taking part in during first clinic over July 4th weekend.   We will spend an elective period or two going over each activity and the process of this exciting new aspect of camp.

There is no charge for this program.  All campers will be involved with our licensed instructors, who have designed specific programs for these new and exciting clinics.

The following is a list of choices for CLINICS:
