Our outstanding facilities are set by one of the most spectacular waterfronts in all of Wayne County. It consists of a 100 acre private lake, beach area, sand-bottomed instructional section, magnificent aluminum docks for boating and water-skiing and a safe and easily supervised deepwater area. For instructional swim there is an Olympic sized Heated Swimming Pool, where the American Red Cross swim program is taught. The pool features both inground and above the ground lights for nighttime swimming.

Westmonts sports facilities consist of three red-bricked baseball diamonds, two regulation soccer fields, a football field, eight all weather tennis courts (four lighted), two outdoor basketball courts, hard-top volleyball courts, an archery range, an indoor skating and hockey rink, a gymnastics and weight training center and a redwood playground.

A fantastic indoor sports arena with skylighted ceiling houses our all wood floor and indoor basketball court, as well as a modern stage and sound system for our dramatic productions. An electric timer and score board lend a collegiate atmosphere to this building.

The canteen is well equipped to meet the nutritional and social needs of all our campers. This popular area includes: bumper pool, a juke box, table tennis, fuss ball, table shuffle board and a regulation size pool table. The candy store style booths and tables give Westmont's canteen a relaxing atmosphere. Housed here also is our photography, arts and crafts, and ceramic centers: all equipped with the most modern equipment. A large computer building, plastics and woodmaking shops and rocketry program rounds out a full program of creative activities.

Our beautiful paneled cabins are spacious, well lit, have regular hung windows, and have all bathroom facilities inside. Each building has its own hot water heater and smoke detector. All cabins have fluorescent lighting. Every camper sleeps on a bed with a comfortable mattress and has a night table and ample cubby space to hold their personal clothing. Our modern on-campus laundry weekly launders our campers clothing and returns it promptly in 1-2 days.

A lovely dining hall accommodates all of our campers for three nutritional well balanced and well planned meals a day. Our famous "salad bar" which was written up in Newsday's food section, is a favorite with everyone. On a typical day the campers help themselves to salad, fruit, cottage cheese, tuna salad, cole slaw, potato salad, yogurt, and a wide variety of condiments. Our board of health certified kitchen is run by 2 professional chefs and a full time baker.

A resident M.D. and two full time nurses run our camp wellness center (infirmary) which includes a waiting room, examining room, complete kitchen, treatment room, T.V. room, and individual bedroom.
